Stephen Rees - Chairman

Mr. Rees received a degree in Production Engineering from the HTL St.Pölten in Austria and a B.A. in Finance from the City of London Business School; He has over 20 years experience in general management, information technology, microelectronics and semiconductors and held several executive positions with Siemens in the Retail and Finance sectors in Europe and Asia.

Founder of Astron Group, Microsil, TRP and Atila Ventures and held board or executive positions at several technology companies such as Flextronics, Acteos, Gespac, Raysono, D2 Biosciences,  Brightrivers and Global Data Trade.

Luc Bauer

Bandel L. Carano

Bandel L. Carano joined Oak in 1985 after two years with Morgan Stanley's Venture Capital Group. At Oak, Bandel has invested in companies with emphasis on design automation, (Centric Software, Interconnectix, Parametric, Synopsys and Tensilica); telecommunications, (2Wire, Airspan, Avici, CommVerge, CoreTek, FiberTower, General Bandwidth, Metawave, NeoPhotonics, Netopia, PictureTel, Polycom, PulsePoint, Qtera, Relion, Sentient Networks, Tegic, Trapeze, Wellfleet, White Rock Networks and WFI); software, (Entropic, Illustra/Informix, Sybase, TeleAtlas and Visto); and advanced semiconductors (Actel, Airgo, CommQuest, Kenet, Level 5, NemeriX, nLight, Resonext, SMIC, SolarFlare, Stretch, Synaptics, and Virata). Bandel received his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He also currently serves on the Investment Advisory Board of the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund.

Arturo Krueger

Mr. Krueger brings more than forty years of experience in the semiconductor business to NemeriX. He has served as a corporate officer for a major, multi-national semiconductor company and currently serves as a director on the board of QuickLogic Corporation and Marvell.

Since February 2001 Mr. Krueger has been a consultant to OEM automobile manufacturers and semiconductor companies that serve global automotive and telecom markets. Mr. Krueger was also corporate Vice President and General Manager of Motorola's Semiconductor Products Sector for EMEA from January 1998 until February 2001. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Technology in Switzerland and has studied Advanced Computer Science at the University of Minnesota. Mr Krueger is also an active member of IEEE and other engineering associations.

Alain De Taeye

Mr. De Taeye is currently the CEO of Tele Atlas, a company he co-founded in the mid-80s as a research assistant in the Business

School of the University of Ghent Belgium. Tele Atlas is the global leader in digital mapping and geographic content and Mr. De Taeye has led the organization since 1990.

In 1993 Mr. De Taeye created the European Digital Roadmap Association, consisting of Etak (a US mapping company active in the UK), Robert Bosch GmbH (the mapping division for car navigation systems) and Tele Atlas. In 1995 Mr. De Taeye led the merger of the Robert Bosch mapping division into Tele Atlas, and in 2000 Tele Atlas acquired Etak to expand activities in North America.

In 2000 Mr. De Taeye led Tele Atlas to a successful IPO on the Frankfurt stock exchange and in 2005 the company was successfully introduced on the Euronext, Amsterdams stock exchange.

Davide Mottis

Mr. Davide Mottis, Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public

Born in 1969, Mr. Davide Mottis achieved his academic law degree at the University of Zurich in 1993 and was admitted to the bar in 1996.

His fields of activity and practice areas are Business Law, Commercial Law, National and International Company Law, International Tax Planning, National and International Contract Law and Notary Public services.

Mr. Mottis has been at Studio Legale Brunoni Molino Mottis Adami in Lugano since 1997 where he has been a partner since 2001.

Viesturs Janis Vucins OK

Viesturs Vucins is the former CEO of British Telecom Germany, the largest operation outside the UK for BT. Prior to British Telecom, Mr Vucins held a series of positions in various companies including President & CEO of Ericsson Fiber Optics AB, President & CEO of Swedish Telecom International AB, President & CEO of Unisourse NV, and Chairman of the Boards of Unisourse Business Networks AG, Unisourse Voice Services AG, Unisourse Carrier Services AG, Unisourse Satellite Services BV, Unisouse Cards BV and Unisourse Mobile AB. When Unisourse joined forces with AT&T in December 1994, Mr Vucins was elected President & CEO of AT&T - Unisourse (Uniworld).

Viesturs Vucins has also served as President & CEO of Global One and he is the former Regional President (EMEA) for the Business Communications Division of Lucent Technologies.

In 2000 Mr Vucins joined a number of companies as an investor and Board Member, including Song Networks AB (public), DigiMob Ltd, Visual Wireless AB, Marratech AB, Wireless Maingate AB, Operax AB, and Xelerated Packet devices. He also started a consultancy company Teamup Management AB with some of his previous colleagues.

Ron Torten

Before joining NemeriX, Ron Torten was Vice President of Global Sourcing Semiconductor Products Group of Agilent Technologies, Inc. Prior to this, Torten was vice president and general manager for the Networking and Entertainment Division of Agere Systems. Previously, Torten was with Quantum Corporation, where he served in a variety of product marketing and supply chain positions.
Torten holds a BS degree in chemical engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of California at Davis.
