Evaluate the NemeriX high sensitivity A-GPS NJ2020/NJ1006A chipset and use NB2030 ref design to develop a self-contained, high sensitivity GPS receiver module

The NB2030 is a reference design of a self-contained GPS receiver module based on the NemeriX NJ2020 and NJ1006A high sensitivity A-GPS chipset. The receiver embeds an ARM7TDMI based host processor with on-chip Flash memory necessary to store the NemeriX NS2020 GPS firmware. The module also provides the phantom power for the required, external active or passive antenna. It is built with 0.5mm pitch uBGA devices in order to achieve a very compact design.

The NB2030 interfaces to the host system via the host processor UART using the NMEA protocol expanded with NemeriX specific commands. More interfaces are available on an expansion connector. It requires a 3.3V main power supply.
