NemeriX Development and Evaluation Tools

Below is a list of our development kits and evaluation boards.

By purchasing any of the NemeriX development and evaluation tools, you will be provided with full schematics, layouts, datasheets and application notes. In addition, customers are supported by the highly-experienced NemeriX application team. The application support team will be able to assist in the evaluation process and also provide advice on the hardware design process. This will include providing suggested guidelines for your development work, as well as reviewing schematics and layouts throughout the whole hardware development phase. Support will extend to bringing up and tuning of your NemeriX-based manufactured boards.

The SDK-A includes the necessary software development tools, detailed documentation and support for the software integration process.

Evaluation Kit: NB1043Ax
Evaluate the NemeriX chipset NJ1030A+NJ1006A

The NB1043Ax is a reference design that can be used as an example to develop a self-contained GPS receiver module based on the NemeriX NJ1030A and NJ1006A GPS chipset. It can also be used to rapidly evaluate the GPS performance and the current consumption of the NemeriX GPS solution. The GPS reference designs NB1043Ax can be easily plugged into the interface board IB2000, which is provided as a part of the kit, making the evaluation process straightforward. more information

EB1006A RF Front End Evaluation Kit
Evaluation kit for the RF front end NJ1006A.

The EB1006A is an easy to use evaluation kit that is able to test the performance of the NemeriX GPS RF front end chip NJ1006A in conjunction with a separate base-band processor. The NJ1006A Evaluation Kit includes the evaluation board EB1006A and its interface board IB1000B. more information

Reference Design: NB2030/NB2031
Evaluate the NemeriX high sensitivity A-GPS NJ2020/NJ1006A chipset and use NB2030/NB2031 ref design to develop a self-contained, high sensitivity GPS receiver module

The NB2030 is a reference design for a self-contained GPS receiver module based on the NemeriX NJ2020 and NJ1006A high sensitivity A-GPS chipset. The receiver embeds an ARM7TDMI based host processor with on-chip Flash memory necessary to store the NemeriX NS2020 GPS firmware. It is an SMT compliant, 26x29mm module. NB2031 is a variation of NB2030 containing antennas switch on board so it supports both an on-board passive antenna and external active antennas. NB2030 plugs into IB2030 interface board for easy and fast evaluation. The IB2030 interface board can be purchased separately. NemeriX 2030/2031 reference design board comes with all documentation including the corresponding Gerber files, schematics, Bill of Materials, datasheets and app notes. Reference Design: NB2040/NB2041
Evaluate the NemeriX high sensitivity A-GPS NJ2020/NJ1006A chipset and use NB2040 ref design to develop a self-contained, high sensitivity GPS receiver module

The NB2040 is a reference design for the NemeriX NJ1006A and NJ2020 low power baseband processor for indoor assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS) and enhanced performances stand alone GPS applications. The NB2040 reference design is designed to be used as a hosted system. The communication with the host processor is realized trough a serial interface or trough an SPI or I2C bus. NB2041 is a variation of NB2040 containing antennas switch on board so it supports both an on-board passive antenna and external active antennas. NB2040 plugs into EB2040 interface board for easy and fast evaluation. It can be purchased as a part of EK2040. NemeriX 2040/2041 reference design board comes with all documentation including the corresponding Gerber files, schematics, Bill of Materials, datasheets and app notes. Evaluation Kit: EK2040
Evaluate the NemeriX high sensitivity A-GPS NJ2020/NJ1006A chipset

The EK2040 is a handheld unit containing all the necessary hardware to permit extensive field and lab evaluation of an NJ2020 based system. It provides a full A-GPS reference implementation. The unit consists of an NB2040 reference GPS receiver, an ARM9 based example host sub-system and a GPRS module for receiving assistance data. The NB2040 is a reference design module based on the NemeriX NJ2020 and NJ1006A high sensitivity A-GPS chipset. NB2040 is plugged into EB2040 (which is a part of EK2040 kit) for easy evaluation and integration. The part of the kit is a CD containing all the documentation, including integration guides, datasheets, schematics and Gerber files, as well as the required SW. more information
