NemeriX GPS Solutions Overview

The NemeriX product range features the world’s lowest power GPS chipset at 25 mW @ 1 fix/s, and an A-GPS solution for indoor applications. Low system cost and small system size dictate market growth for GPS applications: NemeriX beats industry leading benchmarks for both overall system cost and chipset size.

NemeriX's product offering includes analog RF receivers and digital base band processors. These are the primary components used in GPS.

In todays technology, most successful GPS receivers use two chip solutions. Although single chip (monolithic) solutions do exist, their performance cannot match that of todays two chip products. NemeriX exploits the advantage of SiGe (Silicon Germanium) technology in conjunction with standard CMOS technology for its two die solution

In a typical application, a receiver and base band processor are used in conjunction with proprietary system software. Currently NemeriX provides GPS software free of charge for all users of NemeriX products.
